Are you an alumnus of the Carolina MPA program? If so, we want you to be involved! There are lots of ways to continue your relationship with the program.
First, we sincerely hope that you will consider joining the MPA Program’s Alumni Association. More information on membership, as well as the group’s by-laws, budget, and current board, can be found on the Alumni Association webpage.
There are several events each year that require alumni volunteers. If you are local to the Chapel Hill area and would be willing to volunteer at one of these, please email Brandon Foster, Development & Constituent Relations Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll add you to our volunteer contact list.
On a continual basis, we encourage MPA students and alumni to refer prospective students to the program. If the referred candidate should ultimately enroll, then you will be recognized by the MPA program for your involvement in creating the next generation of public service leaders. To initiate the referral process, please submit this web form. For questions, please contact Anne Kilby at email@example.com or Jamarian Monroe at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every year, we host the Public Administration Conference at UNC-Chapel Hill. For more information on this event, please visit the Public Administration Conference website.
Additionally, please consider joining the MPA Alumni listserv. Just send an email with a subject line and message of “SUBSCRIBE: MPA ALUMNI” to email@example.com.
Finally, here is a calendar of some of the Alumni Association goings on this coming year.
The MPA Program would not be nearly as strong as it is without support from its alumni. We hope to see you at some of the events this coming year!
