Ronald Aycock Public Administration Scholarship
Ronald Aycock worked for the North Carolina City and County Management Association (NCCCMA) from 1973 to 2005, serving as the executive director from 1977 through his retirement. NCCCMA Deputy Director Ed Regan conceived the scholarship in 2005 to honor Aycock’s more than 30-year career with the organization and his commitment to local government.
Aycock earned both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a JD at UNC-Chapel Hill. He continues to serve North Carolina as a senior associate with the Aycock Group, which focuses on economic development and community visioning. He also serves as the Person County attorney.
