Tom Lundy joined the School of Government as an adjunct instructor in the MPA program in 2009. He has been manager of Catawba County, North Carolina since March 1979. A member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) since 1972, Lundy served a term as its president and terms on a number of its boards and committees. He is a credentialed manager. Lundy currently serves on the ICMA Retirement Corporation Board of Directors and the International Hispanic Network Board of Directors. He is a past president of National Association of County Administrators (1986-87) and the North Carolina City/County Management Association (1990-91). He received a BA in Political Science and Business and Economics from Emory & Henry College and an MPA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
